A really good client of ours was out working this past Tuesday and witnessed a lady tossing a calico kitten out of her car window. They were out in the middle of nowhere, but when the lady realized she was being watched, she screeched her tires and sped away, narrowly missing said kitten. Mr. Good Samaritan scooped up the kitten and brought her back to the office with him. He called us because he and his wife already have several cats of their own. We agreed to take her in and they made a nice donation to the Fuzzy Friends Fund (FFF).  He named her Tuesday.

Poor Tuesday. She’s very healthy, obviously cared for by someone prior to dumping her. She had a healed spay incision with sutures still in. She is very sweet, definately not a feral bone in her body. So the question becomes…why on earth would somebody dump this gorgeous girl in the middle of a field? Was she a forbidden christmas kitten that the kids weren’t supposed to get? Did she upset the neighbor by coming in their yard? Did someone just get tired of her? Who knows. But from now on she won’t have to worry about being abandoned.

She’s definately a typical calico. Haha. She is currently under my bed growling her head of at Oliver. Oliver’s like “What’s her problem?” He runs up to any new foster I bring home and immediately starts trying to groom them. Tuesday didn’t appreciate the welcome party. But she’ll warm up to him….hopefully!

There’s already somebody interested in adopting her. This girl’s future is looking bright.
